Allardice joined the ICC in 2012 as General Manager of Cricket and became Chief Executive in 2021. During his tenure, he implemented the Decision Review System (DRS) across international cricket, guided the sport through the COVID-19 pandemic, and played a pivotal role in cricket's inclusion in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. His departure coincides with Jay Shah, former secretary of India's BCCI, becoming ICC chair.

Jofra Archer's Return to International Cricket
